It all started as a little experiment, when Berlin Techno DJ Chris Plettenberg got an extra playtime at the 2022 Feel Festival, where he could play as he liked.
That experiment turned into love on first sight.

All of a sudden:
PLETTE was born.

His biggest influence isn’t actually coming from electronic music, but from the soul and beat oriented Hip-Hop culture of the late 80s and early 90s.

Like his Big Idols, The RZA and Dr. Dre, he likes to dig deep into the crates of the golden age of Soul, Disco, Jazz and Funk and puts it into a groovy 4 on the floor beat and adds some Organ sounds to give it a modern dance floor oriented flair.

With that, being said:
Hood House is born.

From there, it didn’t take long for word to get around.
In the vibrant heart of Berlin’s club scene, PLETTE’s sound has already found a home in renowned dance institutions like “Wilde Renate” and Ritter Butzke, igniting dance floors citywide.
But the music doesn’t stop at Berlin’s boundaries; it’s making waves across the nation. Whether in the beats of Cologne, the vibes of Munich, or the festival anthems, PLETTE’s star continues to ascend, leaving a mark wherever it lands.🌟

Therefore, his signature sound is a carefully curated blend of nostalgia and modernity, fusing elements that transport you to a realm of playful beats and contagious energy.
